Nicanos went immediately into action, Alexander now completely irrelevant and forgotten. “Methiodos, assemble your enomotia and get them up to that ridge. We need to drive off the guard up there and get eyes on the city.”

He turned away and with that, the previous episode was over and consigned to history. Alexander turned to thank Theokritus, but didn’t get the chance. When he looked over at them he saw Methiodos already marching away with Theokritus, issuing instructions and orders as he marched. Alexander hurried to catch up with them.

Methiodos assembled his enomotia in what seemed like moments. They were disciplined men, they were already preparing for the morning exercise so they were already strapping on their armour as they were briefed by Methiodos. Soon they were formed up and ready...
