The 40 years of wanderings have ended and the children of Yisra’el prepare to enter the Promised Land.  Moshe reviews their journey from the time they left Egypt to the time of the preparation of the crossing into the Promised Land.  Moshe passes leadership of the camp to Yehoshua, then goes up Mt. Nebo where he is allowed to see the Promised Land and then dies.
