Karla kept staring at me. She asked,

“What's wrong?”

I shook my head, and answered,

“Nothing.”

I couldn't hide how I felt. This reality I'm living is nothing like the hidden one that Blake lives in. As we dropped off Karla, she said,

“Bye guys!”

Blake and I were now right where I want us to be. I couldn't let this moment slip away. I moved to the passenger seat, slipping easily between the two seats. I leaned over, trying to be as sexy as I could be, and said, whispering in his ear,

“Take me somewhere.”
