As far as my classes go, I'm doing...okay. It's taken a lot to get used to the new school. North Central Alternative has some of the coolest kids you could ever meet, but it's not like my old school. This place makes me feel like a freak. Thank goodness Karla is here. Speaking of which, there she is!

Karla was dressed in tight green jeans and a sort of blue sleek shirt. Her red hair was pushed back, and it seemed to shimmer in the sun. It barely rested above. her shoulders, and I knew this must be a “good day” for her. I swear that she doesn't have an ounce of fat on her. She noticed me, and I met those dark green eyes of hers.
