What Gaza's have in common with Native Americans?

Let me start by stating that I am not a Native American Indian or a historian. My second wife, rest her spirit, mainly was Native American, and she imparted to me the plight of her heritage and culture. Like many people who have followed the war in Gaza, I am appalled by the events that have unfolded before, since, and after the attack on October 7th of 2023

 

Before that attack, Israeli settlers were encroaching on land claimed by the Palestinians and giving them many valid reasons to rebel against their suppressors. Did it justify the attack? No, but it was the only course of action open to the Gazans. War with Israel was the only recourse for Hamas and the other militant factions living in Gaza.
