How to Update the Supreme Court

Nothing seems as perilous as a democracy balanced on the tip of a needle. According to the outdated U.S. Constitution, its initial design was to balance power between the government's executive, legislative, and judicial branches. The problem is the two-party system of politics has created a partisan hurricane wind destroying the balance. The hurricane-force wind is tipping democracy out of balance. The wind is coming from the Supreme Court-biased 6-3 configuration. 

 

The Supreme Court is acting like a baseball umpire, calling balls and strikes in favor of only one team (the Conservatives). No matter the pitch to the court, they called it in favor of the Conservatives. The Constitution supposedly set the strike zone. However, wild pitches and balls in the dirt are now called strikes.
