Born again, or to experience the new birth, is a phrase, particularly in evangelicalism, that refers to a "spiritual rebirth" or a regeneration of the human spirit. This treatise has nothing to do with religion and everything to do with the regeneration of the human spirit. When the law punishes a person by giving them a scarlet letter "F" for life, it is cruel and unusual punishment.
