The shadows passed across the floor as the day continued, thinning as the sun rose high in the air and then beginning to thicken as it began to fall. I had a lot of time to reflect that day. The silence between the two of us was defeaning. Jean Romey had come into my life and. wore my ex-wife's clothes as she destroyed it completely. Sure to be literally soon, when the Major arrived.
