December 25th

Christmas Day is a special time with family and friends. It’s time to celebrate the year behind us, to exchange gifts, to attend church if so inclined, and to enjoy each other’s company.

Yes, we enjoyed the late night Mass on Christmas Eve. The choir was brilliant and a tiny girl in front of us was unbelieveably cute. Yes, we exchanged gifts and ripped off wrapping paper. Santa visited the house for Hannah so we were woken by her urgent requests to go downstairs at seven o’clock. Jamie played along and acted surprised when he got the video game and phone case he’d requested.

Then came the family part. We only had two guests – my Dad and the Dragon.
