It is surprisingly difficult to buy Christmas gift with a sprained ankle.

You can’t walk far without resting and yet your pesky family doctor refused to give you a pair of crutches as it was “only twisted” so you’re stuck using Cal’s old hiking stick for support. Every other shopper in the place is moving faster than you and is impatient with your slow progress. Now add in your teenage son who lost interest in the entire enterprise the moment you bought his gift and your ten year old daughter who wants to spend the evening looking at sparkly accessories rather than tracking down a suitable gift for an impossible to buy for Dragon-in-Law.
