They say life happens when you’re busy making other plans. They might be right. I was so happy to move seamlessly from the census job onto minding Dylan but I missed the warning signs and ended up side-swiped by the Princess and the Pox.

Hannah didn’t want to go to Chloe’s birthday party and I made her go. I was raised to always say yes to party invitations. I should have listened to Sophie’s “How to Say No Lessons”.

Hannah had a good time. They made modelling clay fairy houses, hers was beautiful despite a big smudge on the front door. Naturally this was an unmitigated Disaster.
