“Was” is a cruel word.

“Did” is ripe with memories.

“Could of” is a dagger and “should of” an open wound.

Who knew grammar could be so painful?

“Will be” is moving forward, resolute.

 “Could be” is hope for tomorrow.

“Is” and “am” is always changing, like a leaf on a river.

Past tense, unchangeable.

Present and future tense, pregnant with possibilities.
