“You’ve got to be kidding me,” Dad grumbled.

Eleanor looked up from her homework. Her father was frowning with his whole face, even creasing his forehead, which she knew he tried not to do. Part of her didn’t care. She wasn’t sure why she bothered to look up and say, “What’s wrong?”

“The Greeleys are demanding ridiculous things.”

That didn’t sound like Sam and his family. “Like what?”

Instead of answering, her father sent her a list of what Sam’s family was asking for.

Eleanor scanned through it. “I don’t see what’s so unreasonable about asking GenM to follow the same rules everybody else does. Or that Wilson is held accountable for his actions.”
