Eleanor didn’t learn about the meeting up in GenM headquarters until after Sam’s grandma burst into her tutoring session with Kali and the boys.

“What have you gotten our boy into, now?” the old woman demanded.

Kali stood up from the table. “Grandma! What’s going on? I thought you weren’t leaving the garden.”

Sam’s grandma pointed a shaking finger at Eleanor. “I told you this girl would be trouble, didn’t I? Get her out of this house.”

“Grandma, she’s tutoring—”

“I’m tutoring you lot until your parents can find somebody more suitable. Now pick up your things and come with me back to the garden. You, too, Dion, Ray, Xavier.”
