The sun was my enemy this morning. Its rays crept into my room too early and wouldn’t let me sleep any longer. I knew things had to be done before work, but another hour or two wasn’t going to hurt anyone. Pulling my blanket over my head, I drifted off into sweet slumber. However short it was, I still savored every minute. When Anna woke, I heard her go after the cereal. Who in the hell chews that loud? Groaning, I rolled onto my stomach and buried my head under my pillow. Note to self, never live with a roommate ever again. Actually, no roommates, no wife, no kids, no one. Just me.
