"Morning," Tanner greeted me with an unnecessary swagger. 

Sitting back in the driver's seat, he leaned out the window from where he blocked my driveway. With my bike in hand, I walked around him, determined to leave him and this ridiculous change behind. Geoffrey and I hadn't made up after practice, and the more often they followed me around, the greater chance someone would notice. I didn't need Geoffrey breathing down my neck. Or worse, Andre.
