As the two brothers glowered at each other, I set my bags down on the sidewalk. Shifting my hips side to side, when the lull of silence grew too long.
“No way. Sprints from here to the far side of the lot and back!” Jackson yelled.
Tanner sent me a pleading look around his brother, so I didn’t even wait for an agreement. I just took off. If nothing else, competing would be a good exercise pre-gym. It wasn’t like the weight room took much effort.
