Dark haired with the sort of chocolate brown eyes and tan skin girls used to pale and light eyes swooned over, Coach Doug De Monte hadn't been in Port Edmond long. The rare out of towner who moved into the area, he'd shown up from the city with his certificates and a southern drawl. When he helped out with the girl's soccer team, all the other women's side sports were jealous. Despite his face, he took his job seriously, and he'd never made a comment on how tall I was or how much bigger I was than the other girls, so he was fine by me.
