It was very dark, the only light coming in streaming through small circular windows far up the dome. The windows were just empty holes, the polymer used to make them long ago removed for the material, but it at least allowed for a gradual circulation of air inside the enormous hall.

Finally getting to the side of the hall, Łedzidše made his way along the wall. Doors into small rooms were placed intermittently along the wall – old bathrooms, concession areas, control rooms, all emptied of their contents.
