Below the Waves

                Lilly didn’t understand the need to move now; after all, she had never been in a safe house, never been in hiding. The Maywells were a prominent family, their name was plastered around the town and a plaque was tacked out the door “Maywell Estate Home, circa 1810”. Anyone that had wanted to find her—or her parents—had no problem doing so.
