It was in the dread of the night, what do Vampires do when it is too late to sleep? Our love for rest far surpasses our admiration for darkness. Though many fools misinterpreted this as a weakness to the sun, I guess that is typical of humans to do when they do not understand something. But in reality even they, agree that if one stares too long in the sun, they will go blind, while those same eyes will simply adjust in the darkness to offer a better view.

We are far more normal than others would think, and in that silence of the lonely night, there was but one place that a Vampire like me would choose to spend the reminder of his time before he meets an unhappy parent, with an impossible wish for them: the bar.

The place was loud with music. There were women dancing; I guess one...
