Chapter Thirteen

        At least I got a vacation to Florida. Danni never knew how true her words were, when she wrote them so long ago.
        I felt my lips curve upward in a secret smile. Not only did I get to go somewhere warm while it was still winter in Wyoming, but I managed to meet destiny head on and finally be at the right place at the right time.
        I pondered the question of destiny. Did it truly exist? Were we just pawns in some great scheme? Were our lives already mapped out for us and we just moved along the paths already chosen for us? If I hadn't gone to Florida would I still have met my husband another day, another time?
