This is a hardy soup high in protein, collagen and more! This recipe feeds a family of 5, with plenty of leftovers for everyone.
Think ahead
- You'll need between 5-10 hours, chef's knife, a ladle and one of the following; a big slow cooker, huge cauldron or about an 8 quart stock pot.
- If you are going for a clear stock, simmer on low and maybe use a big slow cooker for this recipe. If you want that thick rich comfort stock, boil it up in your cauldron or pot!
- Bones high in collagen can be boiled a few minutes and drained before the long boil to prevent that funk flavor. If your bones don't smell, skip this step, but go ahead and rinse them for good measure.
