As if on cue, a knock came at the heavy door. Neba sighed, but did not move from the edge of the tub.
“Enter,” she called out, her voice assuming a strange, lazy quality once more.
Adelynn, still standing in the middle of the room, turned to see one of the three people that had been waiting on Neba - that had tried to attack her - push open the door.
His eyes passed over Adelynn quickly, searching the room until he spotted Neba to the side, perched on the lip of the tub.
The Firewalker motioned the man into the room and he entered, only a small amount of wariness flashing across his face when he glanced at Adelynn.
