He drew a heavy, angry breath, then spoke.

“The story of Flint the Fearsome is thought by most Firewalkers to be a myth. That it’s an impossible thing, for a Firewalker to die. That’s why most have embraced the pain that comes with being a Firewalker and channeled it into power and destruction.” He paused here, looking at his own hands. “It’s hard not to do, really.
