The dust has settled a little on this one now, hasn’t it? It was highly anticipated for two full years before its release – and with good reason. Zack Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice is cinematic history, whichever way you slice it. It may have divided audiences and critics alike, in a way not seen - perhaps, ever - but it is the first time the titular DC comic book icons have appeared together in live action, on the big screen. It is also the first appearance in live-action cinema for Aquaman, Cyborg, The Flash and, most crucially, Wonder Woman – because the greatest achievement of Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice is the introduction of a fully realised female superhero into the modern era.
