Iron Man refuses to help, until he figures it out - then he’s on board. They round up Hulk, and head to New Asgard, where they find that Thor has been on a five year bender. He is now an overweight drunkard, suffering emotional difficulties after the events of Thor: Ragnarok, Infinity War, and the beginning of this film – but he is eventually convinced to return.
