just about the hand-to-hand combat skills. She is propelled forward into power by the sudden knowledge of everything the Kree worked to keep her from – the truth, and herself. Her Kree training was always predicated on the fact that her execution of strategy was unruly and undisciplined, because she allowed emotion to influence her actions. This point is instrumental in bringing all of these threads to their crescendo, when Carol faces down both Yon-Rogg and the Supreme Intelligence in separate scenes, and finally breaks free from their influence.
