Once on the ground, Bodhi meets Rosie, releases Tyler, and the two men are seen stopping their truck next to Roach’s dead body. They collect the money, wonder aloud whether they should bury him, but choose to leave him there instead. During their big final showdown, Johnny lists all the places he followed Bodhi to, and states that he “found an unclaimed piece of meat…that turned out to be Rosie.” Bodhi left him behind, too, in pursuit of his own agenda, and his own success.
