avert it, and save Emmet (again) – and this is the crucial point of the film. Finn slowly comes to realise the fact that his sister is simply trying to join in, not take over. She is asking to share space, not steal it all and push him out. When they come together on those terms, Our-Mom-ageddon ends, and good times are restored. The conflict is resolved, and fun ensues. Finn and Bianca work together to create new things that neither of them could have imagined alone.

This is what makes The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part such a feminist film – the fact that it is literally about feminism in society.
