Then, they go to a baseball game. When they get caught in a convenient rainstorm, they head back to her place to towel off, and things get intimate very quickly. Sabrina begins to seduce Dave in Mitch’s body, but her tattoo reminds him of his daughter, and he decides to head home instead. 

Again, this is male fantasy. The situation has been constructed to allow Dave to explore his desire to ‘have’ Sabrina despite his marriage, and to allow Sabrina to enter into that situation willingly, without the moral quagmire of having sex with a married man. She gets to retain her ‘innocence,’ and he gets to have his cake and eat it. The fact that it’s the reminder of his offspring that stops him in his tracks is supposed to indicate his redemption, but cannot detract from the fact...
