the sunset. We later learn that they caused a huge accident, and were removed from the family home – being placed in a residential school. Ben and Catherine appeal to Gertz for help, but are instead told that they were actually the subject of his experiment – that Samsonov was observing them, and that Gertz has written a book about them as parents, experimenting on their own children.

Catherine has left Ben, but goes back for him having seen that the children are about to be bullied at school as a result of the publication of Gertz’s book. The two parents manipulate their way into the school, find the children, and have a few moments with them – only to find that they are still very angry. It is then left to Gertz’s assistant – Mrs Tridek (Fionnula Flanagan) – to repair tho...
