Eventually, she gives in, reveals that she slept with Denzel Washington, and begins to recount the tale. It was while she and Kevin were ‘on a break’ before their marriage, and happened just after she found out that Kevin had engaged in intimate, ‘over the pants’ touching with another woman. But, in questioning her about it, Kevin gradually helps Michelle realise that she was mistaken – she did not sleep with Denzel Washington, but rather slept with a random guy she met on a gas station forecourt thinking it was Denzel Washington.
