When Rose, Finn, and DJ infiltrate the First Order destroyer, they discover that DJ has betrayed them, because he also plays both sides for profit. Rose and Finn are marked for execution, but disruption to the destroyer causes confusion, and allows them to fight their way out – with Finn confronting Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie) in the process. Finn and Rose are able to return to the Resistance which, by this point, is huddled inside a mountain - mounting a last stand against the First Order. When Kylo Ren fires up a giant cannon designed to break through the enormous steel entrance door protecting the Resistance, Finn attempts a suicide-run into it to save his colleagues.
