So, 2017 is drawing to a close.

In the past 12 months, we’ve looked at 29 movies and highlighted all the subtle – and not so subtle – sexism within them. One of the many overarching conclusions we have reached is that there are simply not enough women in film – both in front of, and behind the camera. But, in recent weeks, this issue has been dragged to forefront of discussions surrounding cinema, as the true nature of discriminatory and abusive practices in Hollywood have begun to be laid bare.
