There are 26 named characters in Captain America: The First Avenger, but only four of them are female. There is Bonnie (Jenna Coleman) and Connie (Sophie Colquhoun), who are two young women seen briefly in a bar scene. There is Private Lorraine (Natalie Dormer), who is seen in the background of a number of ‘war bunker’ scenes, and who also has a short conversation with Captain America when she makes a pass at him on the pretext of ‘thanking’ him on behalf of all women, for his bravery.
