Iron Maven makes it her priority to destroy Bliss, feeling intense jealousy of her youth and potential. Bliss’ mother – also consumed with jealousy, and the consequent guilt – seeks to manipulate Bliss for her own purposes, prioritising her own social status. It is only Blliss’s seemingly ineffectual father, Earl (Daniel Stern), and team-mate Maggie Mayhem that truly offer Bliss unconditional acceptance.
