“I don’t like the job and I don’t like the people.”

My friend was pretty bitter about his job and based upon some of the stories he’d shared with me, he felt justified in being so. He had recently accepted a new job and was wrapping up the final two weeks at his old job. To him, it felt like an endurance test – a kind of emotional Ironman Triathlon where the goal was to walk out the door without losing his temper and self-control.

“I feel like writing a letter to each and telling them exactly what I think.”

“That would be a CLM,” I warned, then added, “career-limiting manoeuvre.”...
