“No problem” I said. “If you’d like to make a request –”

“I don’t like this music and I don’t like your radio station!”

The country station where I worked had a mobile DJ service and we could supplement our meagre radio wage by playing music for local dances. This particular dance was a 20-year high school reunion in a small hamlet. The crowd was especially boisterous with musical tastes that ran from traditional country to heavy metal. It had become a long and stressful affair.
