“You’ll see,” replied my wife. We were on our way to the local flower and gift shop. During our brief time living in the country, it had become my wife’s favourite haunt while in town for shopping. Since the owners accepted layaways, she had already brought home many wonderful treasures. On this day, we would be looking at a ceramic ornament of a mother elephant with baby.
