He spoke the words without emotion – just a simple statement of fact.

“My mom says a terminal is a place where they park airplanes.”

 Tyler “Tuck” Dryden was 27 years old when I met him in 2010. I was told he was given the nickname Tuck because of the length of time his poor mother had spent in labour and for his weight at birth – over 10 pounds. His arrival had quite simply “tuckered” his mother out.
