The following morning after Haldir's memorial, Elwin sat outside, waiting for Erlan to say farewell to his parents. Shalendra stopped by and grabbed Alea to gather supplies.

Cailu was about to ask why, but Elwin cut him off. Don’t bother asking.

“Why not?”

Alea turned her head, confused. Don’t worry about it, Alea. She shrugged and continued walking, deep in conversation with Shalendra.
