Old Book Smell
Series Info | Table of Contents

Diana leaned over the side of the leather arm chair and plucked a book off of the nearest shelf.

I’ve always loved bookstores, and any bookstore that serves hot coffee and is lined with comfy chairs is alright by me.

She opens the book, Peter Pan.

Oh, I love this book! Dad used to read it to me before bed. He had an old hand painted copy. Wait, coffee.

Energetically she reached over for her cup and balances it in her lap after taking a great big gulp.

Aw man, the smell of old book.

She puts the book to her nose and breathed deeply.

Mmm… old book and coffee. That’s so good.
