"Just lay back and close your eyes, the medication will kick in shortly," a delicate nurse in pink scrubs said gently pushing my shoulders back.
"Thanks," I think I managed to squeak out of my swollen lips. I have no idea how I got myself into this mess. I close my eyes and picture my hive, with its pulsating green bees and their free-flowing honey. I love my babees. See what I did there? I said to my inner monologue. Great, now I was talking myself, this is getting serious.
"If it makes you feel any better, you can speak to me instead," a soft voice whispered in my ear.
"Who are you?"
"I'm God, but you can call me Rosanna or Ro."
"Ro? God's name is Ro?"
