When his feet finally landed on the sand the urge to kiss the grains was overwhelming. Three weeks on a boat had his nerves on edge and his stomach upside down, but they had finally found the stupid island.
“Baby, aren’t you excited?” his beautiful wife who he loved more than anything asked kissing his cheek, “I know the artifact is here, and before you know it, we’ll be back on the boat celebrating.”
He nodded but held his tongue knowing nothing he’d say would do anything but upset her. His wife’s dream job as an archaeologist and treasure protector, as she liked to call it, had them all over the world in the most remote places.
