Start of medical log 784
It's been over two calendar years that we have been aboard the Adventure. Our lack of a destination is starting to wear on the crew, their mental listlessness mirroring that of our mission. With our last communication sent back to earth nearly fifty days ago, people are trying to justify a break in the mission. There is talk of making a permanent home on one of the stable planets we've encountered and abandoning our search of the galaxy. Of course, no one mentioned this in our message to earth, by the time our broadcast reached them we would've already made our decision.
I am torn.
We have a mission, but I can see the mental toll our open-ended quest is taking on my charges. I don't think anyone anticipated such a struggle with our laissez-faire instruct...
