"Come one, come all!" A man in a top hat and tails shouted from in front of it decorated cart. "Kind gentleman and ladies, witness the greatest invention of all time." He beckoned for passerby's join him at his wagon. He spoke not of his design, merely promising it worked and would make everyone rich.
Folks were dying to find out the secret, and if they were bold enough, they would accompany him into the dark interior. It was always the same; they would emerge with wide eyes and pledged their support before running home to tell their loved ones.
This peddling went on for months until one morning his cart was not in the Square.
Later, the village found all of his pledged patrons missing, never to be heard from again.
