It’s ironic that the baggage handler’s name is Jim given that it’s a shortened form of James. He’s of average height, yet he has a huge chest and muscular arms from years of heavy lifting. Jim is easy to talk to as the train travels from station to station.

At each stop, he steps out to help the passengers load and unload bags. James and I take these moments to read. In the pages of a history book, I find an interesting section about ancient tools.
