~Deb’s BBQ Sauce~

     I can’t have most of the bbq sauces that sit on the grocery store shelves.  There’s stuff in them that will set off a headache, so I made up my own after some trial and error, and LOTS of tasting.  That was the yummy part.

1 ½ cups ketchup

½ cup dark brown sugar

2 tbsp soy sauce

¾ tsp dried minced onion flakes

¼ tsp KC BBQ rub

¼ tsp brown sugar bourbon seasoning

¼ cup maple syrup
