define the wind, if you can dare
give meaning to the breeze
'tis only but a rush of air
that's feathered by the trees
and swells the cobalt seas

if one can see, then what is light
intangible as sky?
it is a feeling gleaming bright
that glows in joyful eye
and shines in happy sigh

give color meaning lest it fade
describe its very plane
though just a hue, a tint, a shade
it has a certain fame
it makes distinct each name

the spirit needs to be defined
a soul needs meaning too
'tis personality refined
each thought and feeling true
the substance that is you
